CANCELLATION POLICY

The MANE GIRLS at THE MANE LOFT go through every effort to ensure your experience with us is as enjoyable as possible. We value you and your time.  Your appointments are very important to us, they are reserved specially for you, and we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore we have instituted the following policies to make sure you are informed when booking an appointment.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.

As such, we kindly ask that any changes or cancellations are made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee of 50% of your scheduled appointment.

Three consecutive cancellations will result in The Mane Loft no longer servicing you as a client. Please keep in mind that cancellations will not be accepted via e-mail/direct messaging.

NO SHOW / NO CALL POLICY:

Any appointment that a client fails to call , adjust or cancel will be considered a “no-show.” Any appointment that is cancelled without the requested 24 hour’s notice from the scheduled appointment may also be considered under this policy.

RUNNING LATE:

We understand, things happen. However, if you are running more than 15 minutes late according to our clock, the appointment may have to be rescheduled. We will do what we can to get you in as soon as possible. Please call the salon if you are running late. No-Show & Cancellation Policy may be applied. (See above policy).

INFORMED CONSENT:

When booking an appointment we make sure to inform all clients of our cancellation/no show/no call policy. Appointments are only reserved if a credit card is on file with the verbal consent of the client.


CHILD SAFTEY POLICY

For safety reasons, insurance purposes and to maintain a professional relaxing environment, we ask our clients to leave children ages 10 and younger home unless the child is scheduled for an appointment in the salon. Clients who arrive for their appointments with children may be asked to reschedule.  We cannot assure a child’s safety in a salon environment with sharp implements, hot styling tools, and chemicals. Please do not bring sick children of any age into the salon. Children coming in for a service may be asked to reschedule if the child begins crying and moving their head excessively. This can be traumatizing to the child and dangerous for the stylist.

We write this notice without the intent of offending and hope that you will assist us in keeping our salon a safe environment.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

A positive environment at THE MANE LOFT is our top priority. While we would like to open our doors to all, we will not tolerate rude, or demeaning behavior from our clients to any staff member or fellow client. Clients behaving negatively or rudely will be asked to leave and not return.


DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY

While our staff does our best to work as neatly as possible there are times color may get on clothing or water may touch your clothes or shoes. While this does not happen often , we cannot be held responsible for damages to clothing during a service.
